Cancer Companions is a seminar and support group for people who have experienced a cancer diagnosis as well as friends and family who support them. We provide a safe place where you can talk about the things that concern you, worry you or infuriate you. In addition to extending a listening ear and an understanding heart, Cancer Companions brings the gifts of prayer, scriptures and devotionals to lift up those touched by cancer in their time of need.
Mooresville Campus Light Dinner • 6:00 pm 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month • 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Each Cancer Companions session includes a video with real life stories of people who have experiences like yours. After viewing the video, you’ll participate in a small group discussion about that day’s topic. You’ll also be able to interact with others to learn about their experiences and have the opportunity to share your own. You are welcome to begin attending a Cancer Companions group at any session. Each session is “self-contained,” so that you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin.
