Children @ The Cove

Children's Ministry at The Cove offers a variety of programs for children, birth through fifth grade. Our mission is to assist families as they work to lay a spiritual foundation that will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Cove Kids Club

Cove Kids Club (CKC) is an exciting, engaging experience for children ages birth through 5th grade.  CKC happens each weekend in both Mooresville and Statesville and is available at all weekend services.  Cove Kids Club is also open for children ages birth through kindergarten during our First Wednesday services.

CKC is designed to engage children in worship within a large group setting.  Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are a part of this interactive time.  Children are taught creative, age-appropriate curriculums with Bible lessons that are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate for your child, as well as fun. Children learn that Jesus loves them and wants to be their best friend. They also learn how to live a life devoted to Jesus. Find out more about Cove Kids and what you and your child can expect.

Cove Kids Club is safe and secure. CKC team members go through a security screening process and orientation. Our computerized registration system ensures your child's safety and gets them to the classroom quickly. New families can register for computerized check-in here.  Have questions about Cove Kids? Mid Week Programs for Kids

Bible and Me (BAM) and Jesus and Me (JAM) are mid-week small group programs available for children in 1st through 5th grade.  Kids will enjoy a great time of Bible study, small group time, games, music and lots of fun.  For more information on BAM and JAM, click here.

Children's Baptism Class

Taking the Plunge is a baptism class offered periodically for children (2nd-5th grades) and their parents. In this class your child will find out what every child needs to know about sin, Jesus, faith, heaven and baptism. This class is a prerequisite for children's baptism at The Cove Church and a parent is required to attend with the child. For more information and to sign up for the class, click here.

Family & Baby Dedication

The next Family & Baby Dedication event will be held November 14th at the Mooresville Campus.  Parents wishing to participate will need to attend the First Step Class on November 6th.  This class is required for families participating in the Family & Baby Dedication, and will provide information on the commitment and what a parent's role is in dedicating your child to the Lord.  Registration for the November First Step Class will open later this year. 

Team Access

Team Access is a program at The Cove Church designed to serve children with special needs and their families.  We provide a one-on-one buddy for your child while you attend a weekend service.  This buddy will work with your child on individualized goals and in a way that best fits your child’s needs.  Buddies are available at both our Mooresville and Statesville campuses.  Contact us to learn more about Team Access.

Youth Sports

The WAVE Athletic Association serves children in the community ages 5-12 years old. The WAVE focuses on building a child's character in a faith-based atmosphere and works to reinforce sound values such as integrity, teamwork and perseverance. The WAVE youth sports program includes T-Ball, baseball and soccer. To learn more, click here.
